If there is no solution, the Supreme will have to order: Ramachandran

(PTI) New Delhi, Ta. February 20, 2020, Thursday

The Supreme Court-constituted committee moved to Shaheenbagh to negotiate, but there was no result for the second consecutive day. Sadhana Ramchandran, a member of the Central Committee, said that further action would be taken in the direction of the settlement efforts.

On the next day, Sanjay Hegde and Sadhana Ramchandra, the members of the committee formed by the Supreme, went to Shaheenbagh and interacted with the demonstrators. During the negotiations, committee members interacted with the demonstrators.

Their voices were heard and their presentations discussed. Meanwhile, a few protesters raised questions about the petition filed in the Supreme Court. Sadhana Ramchandran had expressed his displeasure over this.

However, he said there was no such problem that could not be resolved. The Constitution has given the right to exhibit and the central committee has no intention of halting their performance immediately, but the issue of the Supreme Court's stance on the road block should be considered in the first direction.

Sadhana Ramchandran said that if things do not happen, the matter will go to the Supreme again. Because there is a solution to something on this issue. In that direction, the Supreme Court will give a further order, but before that it will be possible to try.
