If the police had not heard Dr. Lee's warning, the virus might have not spread

Beijing, Ta. 10 February 2020, Monday

The demand for Freedom of Speech is now rising in China amid the outcry of the Corona virus in China.

People's dissatisfaction with the government's ban on freedom of speech is coming out. It has been learned that local police force Lee Lee Wenliang, who was the first to report the virus, was forced to remain silent.

He told the first of a group that people who are ill are likely to suffer from the corona virus. However, the police initially confirmed the rumor. The 34-year-old doctor, Lee, also later became infected with the Corona virus. He died on Friday.

After the death of Doctor Lee, the patience of the Chinese academic community has collapsed. Now the voices of political change in China are emerging from this community.

According to a British media report, Dr Lee was among eight doctors whom Wuhan police considered to be rumors.

Following his death, two open letters are going viral on Chinese social media. Doctor Lee said in a post that the police forced me to sign a statement stating that I would not do anything that violates the law. Doctor Lee also threatened to punish the police.

There are 10 signatures of Wuhan's professor on a letter demanding Freedom of Speech. As mentioned, Doctor Lee worked hard for the society and the country.

An apology letter has also been made asking Doctor Lee to publicly apologize. However, now the Chinese government has censored the letter on social media.

Another letter has been written by another alumni of Xinhua, another prestigious university in Beijing. It states that the authorities guarantee the basic rights of the people.
