New Delhi, 13 February 2020 Thursday

The Central Government has announced a new scheme for farmers benefiting the Prime Minister's Kisan Samman scheme. The government has linked the scheme with the benefits of accident insurance and Kisan credit card.

The Government of India has decided to give Kisan Credit Card to all the farmers connected with the PM Kisan Honor Scheme. Currently there are 30 million Kisan credit cards in the country.

Government financing is provided through Kisan Credit. In the budget, Rs 1 lakh crore has been allocated for agriculture sector. Every year, the government is increasing the lending amount for farmers.

In addition to this, temporary loan will be provided for farmers, fishery and fisheries at a maximum interest rate of 5% for the farmers. The campaign has been launched by the government till February 7 and farmers will get benefit of the scheme for the next six days.

Under the government's National Livelihood Mission, the bank will benefit PM Kisan beneficiaries under the Sakhi scheme. 3 lakh farmers have been given Kisan Credit Cards in Gujarat. The number of farmers benefiting under the PM Kisan scheme in the state has reached 1 lakh.

Thus, 1 lakh farmers do not have a Kisan Credit Card among the farmers who benefit from this scheme. Apart from this scheme for the farmers, the three schemes have been merged with the same scheme, together with the decision to provide benefits under the Prime Minister's Security Insurance Scheme and the Prime Minister Jeevan Jyoti Yojana.

Under this scheme, 1 lakh accident insurance and life insurance will be made available to the farmers at a premium of Rs. 1 and Rs.

The Ministry of Agriculture has instructed all the states and Union Territories of the country to prepare a list of farmers who will benefit from this scheme under the KCC.

Under this scheme, farmers will get a loan of 1.5 lakh without any guarantee, with interest rate of only 5%. The government's goal is to reach 100 million farmers.

Until now, the limit for giving benefit of the scheme to the farmers was up to one lakh rupees. Which has been increased by 3 thousand. Until recently, banks used excuses to give Kisan credit cards to farmers. Now they too will have no choice.

The government has announced a budget of Rs 1.8 lakh crore in this budget. Which is 5% more than last year. The government has allocated Rs. 5 crore for the Prime Minister Pakwima Scheme, apart from the PM Kisan Honor Scheme.

At a central cabinet meeting, it has been decided to have a separate fund to help farmers recover from farm losses due to pesticides.

And a guideline will be set on drugs that confuse farmers. And penalties have also been raised against those who do so.
