'Gandhi's freedom struggle was unmatched play'

New Delhi, Feb 3, 2020, Monday

Bharatiya Janata Party MP and former Union Minister Anant Kumar Hegde said, "When I read the history of India's freedom struggle there is great anger." The freedom struggle under Mahatma Gandhi was a rare drama.

Addressing a gathering in Bengaluru, Karnataka, Hegde said it was not a confrontation. It was a new drama. The so-called freedom struggle continued with the help and cooperation of the British Government. This is not called freedom struggle. During Gandhiji's agitation, not a single leader of Gandhi's aide had eaten the police staff.

Even so, Hegde went on to say that I do not understand how Loka Mahatma speaks to Gandhi who made such a play. As I read the history of freedom struggle, my blood started to bleed. I don't understand how it's called confrontation.

He said that the Congress says that Gandhi's freedom from fasting and Satyagraha got independence. This is not true. The British did not leave India on Gandhiji's fast. They had left the country due to frustration and frustration
