Every three minutes a baby dies of air pollution

New Delhi, Feb 5, 2020, Wednesday

One of the major problems between poverty, unemployment, starvation and corona viruses is forgetting. Is air pollution. Every three minutes in India alone, a baby dies of air pollution.

In this year's budget, Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman has allocated Rs 4,400 crore for environmental protection. Last year, only Rs 460 crore was allocated. Allocation of ten times more this year shows how serious the problem of air pollution is in the country.

Environmentalists say that it is very easy in our country to increase the air pollution and get rich, but the problem that arises because of such earnings is not solved. In many areas and states, including Delhi, citizens do not get pure air. Other things to come later.

Air pollution, water pollution, noise pollution etc. Many pollution is making the country environment poisonous. In India alone one million people die from pollution every year ie every three minutes one child suffers from pollution. In the name of development, whole forests are cut down, toxic chemicals are deposited in the rivers. Toxins are added to the air. The government alone cannot solve this problem. Environmental experts say that full cooperation of people is essential in this direction.

In 2019, 122 cities were separated where citizens could not get pure air. There is toxic pollution in the air.
