New Delhi, February 5, 2020, Wednesday
Opposition parties have attacked the BJP over the timing of this announcement amid the announcement of the construction of a trust to build a Ram temple in Ayodhya.
Meanwhile, Muslim leader and AIMIM chief Asaduddin Owaisi said, "Muslim community has not forgotten the incident of demolition of Babri Masjid and we will not let our future generations forget this incident." The announcement could be made even after the Delhi elections on February 8. We are worried about BJP thinking.
A spokesperson for the Shiv Sena said that the decision to create a trust was welcomed by Uddhav Thackeray and Maharashtra but the decision was given by the Supreme Court and it is the responsibility of the government to comply.
Meanwhile, Yogi Aditya Nath welcomed the decision by saying 'Jai Sri Ram'.
