Amit Shah also made this statement in the presence of the Delhi Police, while speaking at the 73rd Rising Day Ceremony of the Delhi Police, Amit Shah said that proper and strict action must be taken against the antisocial and mischievous elements but the police should remain calm even if provoked.

Amit Shah's statement comes at a time when police in Jamia reportedly stabbed a student who had been stabbed and stabbed students with sticks.

Violence erupted during the CAA protests in the Jamia area on December 15, during which Jamia Uni called for police action. Was rushed to campus and later to the library, where he stabbed the students. A video of the incident has now been announced by the students.
