Corona virus outbreak: Chinese commodity prices skyrocket

Beijing, Ta. 9 February 2020 Sunday

Cheap Chinese luggage like 300 rupees smartwatch, 200 rupees Bluetooth speaker and 100 rupees teddy bear can now empty your pocket.

Due to the corona virus, some of China's manufacturing factories have been discharged, which has affected China's imported goods from India and increased prices. Industrialization is also seeing an impact.

According to sources, the shopkeepers say that if the goods coming from China are not properly supplied next time, prices will still rise.

There is no shortage of Chinese goods in the Delhi market. Consumers also prefer to buy Chinese goods because Chinese goods are cheaper. However, due to its low prices, the popular Chinese goods are now becoming more expensive.

Shopkeeper at Lajpat Rai Market, famous for Chinese goods, said that the goods coming from China have almost stopped coming in the last few days. Now if the supply is reduced then the price will have to increase. Prices for almost everything increased by 20 to 30 percent. The smartwatch and mobile device shopkeeper said that the watch that was selling for Rs 330 today was selling for Rs 390 today.

This is because the supply is very low and soon there will be a shortage in the market. Now almost all mobile and watch rates have gone up, not just electronics items, but children's toy prices have gone up.
