Communal unity in Delhi: Muslims save Hindu temple during violence

New delhi date. February 28, 2020, Friday

Examples of communal unity were seen in Delhi while communal violence was taking place on the one hand. The Muslims of Mustafabad provided a unique example of peace and brotherhood by being saved by the Muslims.

While violence was taking place in Mustafabad, Delhi, a Hindu temple was demolished. There were other Hindus living in the temple and around it, fearing that its shops and buildings would be engulfed by violence.

At the same time, the local Muslims came forward to protect the temple and the local Hindus. Traditional Muslims kept protesters away from the human chain. Another case happened in Chandbagh. The marriage of 4-year-old Savritri was postponed after violence broke out in Chandbagh area.

The next day, as violence was rampant, there was a possibility that marriage would be disrupted, but Muslim neighbors came and forced the Hindu family to cross marriage. The Muslim brothers guarded the marriage of the Hindu woman and did not allow the violent protesters to move closer. The young lady thanked the Muslims very emotionally.
