'AAP' blows back in Delhi Assembly, another Opinion poll

New Delhi, Feb 4, 2020, Tuesday

A poll of Arvind Kejriwal's AAP party will return in the Delhi assembly polls scheduled for February 8, it said.

The Opinion Poll, conducted by Times Now and IPSOS, dealt with the fact that 2015 will be repeated, meaning that Arvind Kejriwal's AAP will be elected with a large majority.

One thing that was clear in this survey was that the main challenge is between you and the BJP. The Congress is nowhere in sight. Even no senior Congress leader is interested in public meetings. The BJP, on the other hand, had landed its top leaders in this battle.

Your confidence seemed overwhelming. Arvind Kejriwal himself also used to hold public meetings from morning to night. You were taking advantage of the current atmosphere of anti-BJP CAA and NRC prevailing across the country.

The Opinion poll also found that in 2015 you received 55 percent of the votes. This time the percentage is likely to decrease. You will get 52 to 53 percent of the votes. On the other hand, BJP is likely to get 34 per cent of the votes. The Congress is likely to get two to three seats this time too.

51 per cent of the respondents said that the ongoing demonstrations in Shaheen Bagh were not correct. Only 25 percent justified these appearances.
