The central government is now working on the Uniform Civil Code after the Ram temple, the election manifesto that the BJP announced included the Article 370 and the Uniform Civil Code in addition to the Ram temple. Currently, two important issues 370 and the controversy over the Ram temple have been completed, so there are reports that the government is now working on the Uniform Civil Code.

The Uniform Civil Code means applying the same law to every citizen in the country, irrespective of their religion or caste. At present, there are different personal laws for different religions in the country.

Applying the Uniform Civil Code would be a common law for citizens of every religion. For Hindus, Muslims, Christians, Sikhs or people of any other religion or creed, there will be a law for them in matters such as marriage, divorce, paternal property.

A similar rule would apply to women having rights and adoptions over their father's property. However, whenever it comes to applying the same law to people of every religion in the country, it is taking on a political form and it is beginning to be opposed.

Immediately after independence in 1951, when the drafter of the Constitution, Dr. When Bhimaram Ambedkar tried to introduce the Hindu Code Bill for the Hindu society, it started to get a lot of opposition in Parliament. There were also questions about bringing such a law to a particular religion.

After the controversy, the bill was divided into four parts, and later, when it came to implementing the Uniform Civil Code, it was opposed. Opponents argue that there is an attempt to enforce a single religion law on everyone. When the second class says that there is nothing wrong with the law and everyone is equal then the law should apply equally.

According to the present situation, there are different laws based on each religion, which is different from Hindus, separate from Muslims, these laws are related to matters connected with the family such as marriage, property etc. and some of them have also taken religion.
