Why did Gandhi miss the Nobel Prize five times?

New Delhi, January 29, 2020 Wednesday

Gandhiji is considered to be the greatest peace envoy of the modern age, but despite the nomination three times, no peace nobel was found. Gandhi's non-violent movement led Martin Luther King and Nelson Mandala in South Africa to receive the Nobel but Gandhi was deprived of the Nobel. In the 5th, a member of the Norwegian parliament, Ole Coleonsen, first suggested Gandhi's name for the Nobel. Gandhi was nominated for three, three consecutive years for Nobel Peace Prize. It is believed that the Nobel Committee did not want to offend the British government by adopting Gandhi. However, there is no documentary evidence of such pressure from Britain.

According to the documents obtained, Nobel Committee member Jacob Warmullar ignored Gandhi's name and commented that he could not continue on his policy of non-violence. He never cared that non-violent agitation against the British rule could take a violent form at any time. Some whites believed that Gandhi's agitation in South Africa was enough of a question of Indians while the position of blacks was worse than that of Indians. When Gandhi was nominated for the Nobel for the 4th time, there were only six contenders, but Mahatma Gandhi's chance was not felt. ૧૯૪૭ The Nobel Prize for Human Rights was awarded to Kavekar.

In 7th Quaker himself suggested Gandhi's name for the Peace Nobel. Six people, including Nobel Laureate Emily Greene, also suggested Gandhi's name. He was assassinated on the 5th of January, with the last two days left for the Nobel Nomination. One of the biggest problems for Nobel was that there was no provision for the Nobel Peace Prize. Finally, on November 9, the Nobel Prize was vacated without anyone meeting.

The committee noted that this year's Nobel Prize is not being awarded to any living person. Hence, there is a large class of people who believe that Gandhiji would not have been killed by Nathuram Godse. The award was in Vent, but time was of the essence. The real question was not Gandhi, but Nobel Prize Gandhi was left without. Losing an opportunity is nothing but a regrettable mistake that has come to the head of the Nobel Committee.

While giving the Nobel Peace Prize to the Dalai Lama in 3, the Nobel Committee paid tribute to Gandhi and recalled. It is undeniable that a great personality like Gandhiji did not care about Nobel, but why the world does not recognize Nobel as a priest of peace, it has always been a topic of discussion among Gandhiji.
