Islamabad Date: January 22, 2020, Wednesday

The Pakistani government or the army does not care to see that people in Pakistan have become victims of rampant prices, worried about the Muslims of Jammu and Kashmir. The price of a paratha was increased to Rs 60.

According to a report in The Express Tribune newspaper, the price of a kilo of flour in Pakistan was currently Rs 75 to Rs 80. Prime Minister Imran Khan and the Pakistani army are hit by big gunbatches, but the average Pakistani citizen is suffering from a tonic meal, the newspaper reported.

The report further stated that the strike of Paratha shops in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa continued on Tuesday. They say that we cannot afford the price of flour for making parathas. The price of twenty kilograms flour has now gone up from Rs. 1100 to Rs. 1150.

The situation in the northwest province was very poor. For a kilo of flour, people had to stand in long queues for hours.

In Lahore, Faisalabad and Multan, the price of a kilo of flour was also Rs 70-75. On the other hand, the ministers of Imran Khan were talking like crap. Asked about Railway Minister Sheikh Rasheed about wheat flour prices, he said that as winter comes in November-December, people's food is increasing. As a result, the supply of essential goods is affected. As demand increases, supply conditions are lost. So that seems like a price hike.
