New delhi date. January 2, 2020, Thursday

IT officials raid Delhi and Pune in a VVIP helicopter scam. Income tax officials started investigations at around 30 chambers of businessmen's houses.

In Delhi and Pune 30 rallies were sent by Income Tax Department officials to seek involvement in the VVIP helicopter scam. The investigation was launched by Sushant Mohan Gupta and Pune businessman Dinesh Munot's residence and officials of the Income Tax Department in the office.

Investigators from the Income Tax Department said the raid was done to check if there was any suspicious role in the Augusta Westland helicopter scandal. However, income tax officials did not clarify whether there was any involvement in that direction during the raids. It may be recalled that the EDA arrested Susheen Mohan Gupta last year. Rajiv Saxena was also charged. ED arrested Rajiv Saxena from Dubai.
