Unnao wrap case: Suspected doctor dies after treating victim's father

Prashant Upadhyay, a doctor who treated the father of the victim of the Unnao rap case, has died under suspicious circumstances. Unnao was beaten to the victim's father after which he was brought to the district hospital for treatment. At that time, Dr. Prashant Udayaya was in an emergency and he sent the victim's father to jail.

Prashant Udupiya was suspended while the CBI inquiry began following controversy over the matter and he was taken on duty after a long time. At this time the doctor was stationed at Prashant Fatehpur.

Delhi's Tis Hazari court convicted former BJP MLA Kuldeep Singh Sanger last month in the 2017 Unnao rap case. The court acquitted Shashi Singh, the co-accused in the crime. Shashi Singh took the victim's excuse to Kuldeep Sanger and then Sanger raped the victim. Delhi's Tis Hazari court sentenced Kuldeep Sanger to abduction and rape case and sentenced him to Rs. Was ordered to pay Rs 25 lakh compensation.
