New Delhi, Jan 7, 2020, Tuesday

Tomorrow, January 8, the 10 trade unions have issued a ban on India in protest against the policies of the Indian government. The union claims 25 million people will be involved in the closure.

The day after an interview with the Union Labor Minister, the unions announced that we were forever on the January 8 ban of India in protest of the central government's labor policies.

The unions participating in this nationwide strike include INTC, AITUC, HMS, CITU, AIUTUC, TUCC, SEWA, AICCTU, LPF, UTUC. Left parties and bank employees' organizations have also endorsed the announcement. In addition, 60 student unions will also join. Trade unions are upset with the government's anti-labor policies.

Also, it is unhappy that no Indian Labor Conference has been held since July 2015. Apart from this, organizations are also upset over issues such as mergers of banks, corporatization of defense production companies. Due to this, tomorrow's closure is believed to have a widespread impact.
