The security guard was beaten again at JNU

New Delhi, Jan 4, 2020, Saturday

The clashes erupted at Jawaharlal Nehru University (JNU) on Saturday morning, after students were beaten by a security guard trying to turn off Wi-Fi that had been turned off.

The blasts started on Friday when some students entered the Information Center of the university wearing masks on the face and shut off the power supply, resulting in the server being stopped working.

It is said that the students arrived at the Information Center around one o'clock Friday afternoon. The students locked the center after the power supply was switched off and then sat on the dharna outside the center.

JNU administrators say that because of this, the registration process was completely lost. Strict action will be taken against the students who do so, the spokesman said. For the last one-and-a-half months, JNU has been in constant flux.
