The first lunar eclipse of the New Year will be seen in India on January 10th. This eclipse will last for several hours.
Eclipse will begin at 10-39 pm and eclipse will begin at 2-20 pm. The tenth eclipse will be seen in India as well as in European countries, Africa, Asia and parts of Australia.
This year there will be six eclipses in the country with two solar eclipses and four lunar eclipses.
Representative of Narayani Sheila Sanctuary of Haridwar said that rituals like Sutak or bath should not be held in India as most people would sleep due to excessive cold at night during the eclipse.
