Begusarai, Ta. January 2, 2020, Thursday

Union minister Giriraj Singh has launched a new controversy on Thursday, saying that children studying in missionary schools lack 'sacrament' and that most Indians who go abroad to study, start eating beef. He even recommended teaching Bhagavad Gita and Hanuman Chalisa in private schools.

Addressing a religious function in his Lok Sabha constituency, controversial leader of the BJP, Giriraj Singh said that in order to make children 'missionary' in the missionary schools, the Bhagavad Gita and Hanuman Chalisa should be taught in private schools.

"I want to tell the people sitting here that the Bhagavad-Gita and Hanuman Chalisa should be started in private schools, because if they start teaching in government schools, the government is in danger of being accused of imposing saffron agendas," Singh said.

The Union Minister said that children from rich families in missionary schools become MDs, or engineers, etc. and start off well in career, but they start eating beef when they go abroad. This is because they were not given the 'sacrament'. Therefore, it is necessary to teach them Bhagavad Gita and Hanuman Chalisa.

Giriraj Singh addressed a press conference in support of the Citizenship Amendment Act, in which he described protestors protesting the new law as "Pakistan-sponsored Ghazwa-e-Hind" (holy war against India) and Congress and West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee. Was.

He challenged the Congress that if he had the courage, he would come out and show all illegal immigrants from Bangladesh and citizenship of the Rohingya from Myanmar. He accused the opposition of voting bank politics.
