Myanmar joins India's enemy China for the first time in 19 years

China is slowly becoming friends with other Asian countries and can cause the most damage to India. China is now eyeing Myanmar after Sri Lanka, Bangladesh and Nepal. There have been 33 agreements between Myanmar and China.

At present, Rohingya Muslims have been expelled from Myanmar as well as brutally tortured by the military. While Western countries have been heavily criticizing Myanmar over the incident, China has tried to take advantage of it and promised to cooperate with Myanmar.

There have been 33 agreements between China and Myanmar, which could increase intrusion into China's Indian Ocean. The agreements that have been made include various schemes linked to the Politics, Business, Investment, Belt and Road Initiative (BRI).

During the conversation, Myanmar chief Ang San Suu Kyi made his statement on the Rohingya Muslims, saying that what we have done is right and Western countries have no right to make any statement on this.

For the first time in 19 years, Chinese chief Xi Jinping visited Myanmar. Jinping was given a royal welcome here. India has already criticized the BRI.

The BRI is known as the Belt and Road Initiative. Under this BRI, there are more agreements between China and Myanmar. So in the coming days, India can take up the matter with Myanmar too.
