Jammu-Srinagar highway closed for fourth consecutive day after fresh landslide: 7000 vehicles trapped

The jawan was martyred in an avalanche at an army outpost in Daras in Kargil district of Ladakh. On the other hand, a resident of Jammu and Kashmir has been killed in landslide caused by snow and rain in Chamba district of Himachal Pradesh. Air Force personnel rescued 71 people trapped in an avalanche in Ladakh.

A resident of Poonch district was killed while working on a cell tower in the area of ​​Bharamore police station in Chamba district. In the meantime, the weather was affected due to bad weather at Srinagar Airport. 15 flights were canceled at Srinagar Airport. The flight was forced to cancel due to snow and low visibility.

The highway was closed for the fourth consecutive day after a landslide on the Jammu-Srinagar National Highway. As a result, 7000 vehicles were trapped. The National Highway was forced to close due to landslides at five sites in Ramban district.

The removal of the stone from the highway is in progress, but continued rains and landslides continue to hamper relief and rescue operations. Truck drivers have been in trouble due to the highway closure for four consecutive days.

They have money to eat. Delhi has witnessed a drop in temperature due to rainfall. Delhi today recorded a maximum temperature of 16.4 degrees Celsius. However, the minimum temperature was recorded at 9.5 degrees Celsius.
