India's stance against the European Union proposing against the CAA

India has reacted strongly to the EU proposing against the CAA. India told the European Union that CAA is our internal issue. The Act has been adopted in Parliament through public debate, due process and democratic means.

India has protested the proposal prepared by the European Parliament against the CAA. Some EU members have drafted a proposal against the citizenship law. Which will be discussed and voted on in the European Parliament. The proposal will be presented on January 29 in the European Parliament. The proposal will go to the polls on January 30.

Of the 751 members of the European Union parliament, 626 have brought a total of 6 proposals related to citizenship law and Jammu and Kashmir. EU lawmakers have raised concerns over India's citizenship laws. He said that due to this law, citizenship of people on a large scale can be taken away, which will cause many people to become stateless.
