India must be as aggressive as America in clearing terrorism: Rawat

New delhi date. January 16, 2020, Thursday

India's Chief of Defense Staff General Bipin Rawat said that if India wants to end terrorism then it will have to be aggressive and take action like the US. India will have to adopt the same model that America adopted after 9-11 against terrorism.

Chief of Defense Staff General Bipin Rawat suggested showing a strong stance on terrorism and said that India too would have to do something similar to the US model.

As aggressively as the United States did in the aftermath of the 9-11 attacks, India will have to curb India's anti-terrorist activity in neighboring countries.

Without naming Pakistan, General Bipin Rawat said that countries all over the world should unite in the fight against terrorism through the use of terrorism.

Nobody can escape except terrorist countries on the global stage. The steps taken by the blacklist in the Financial Action Task Force (FATF) and the funding of terrorism will only stop those countries from losing.

Bipin Rawat, pointing to Pakistan and China, said that seeing the activities of India's neighboring countries, our army must learn to deal with terrorism. If we believe that terrorism is ending now, we need to rethink it. Terrorist activity is still on the rise.

Rawat also made a statement regarding US dialogue with the Taliban. He said that if the Taliban wants peace, then the weapon must first be put down. With a weapon in one hand and a peacemaker in the other, the talk cannot go on.
