Chinese media have reported that a new era has begun in China. Lonely people in their 60s or older have been searching for partners at a very young age, Chinese media reported.

The report said that such searches were becoming widespread in online chat rooms, from dating shows being broadcast on television.

Lonely people in their 60s to 70s were now turning to newlyweds or divorces. The economic development and social changes of the last three decades have created many changes in life. One of the reasons for this is the risk of HIV infection.

Chinese media call this activity Twilight Love. Dating shows also popularized a large number of fashionable names. The online chat room also saw a better rush than before, the media report said.
