Fire erupts in Australia, killing more than 500 million livestock

Canberra, Ta. 5. Sunday January 2020

Australia's forest fires have reached dangerous levels. Since September, forests have been on fire and all attempts to control them have failed.

Researchers at the University of Sydney estimate that up to 500 million animal birds have been killed in the fire so far.

Australia's New South Wales State Fire Service Department has warned that forest fires have developed their own weather system in the Northern Territory, a sign of what is terribly alarming.

The fire has spread to the coast of Victoria and New South Wales, Australia. Due to the wind and smoke, hundreds of villages and cities are making it difficult for people to live in. People are fleeing home plants.

Emergency has been implemented in a number of areas. Fires have been exacerbated due to strong winds in the state of Victoria on Saturday.

The fires have forced thousands to leave their homes and stay as refugees.

Australian Prime Minister Scott Morrison has canceled the India tour starting January 13 and the subsequent Japan tour due to the fire.
