During the JNU demonstration, a police officer's thumb was cut off

On the 5th of January, students of JNU were rushing to the Rashtrapati Bhavan instead of demonstrating when a police officer tried to stop them.

2011 batch police officer Pratap Singh was on duty at the time. The number of students was large. The number of policemen was relatively small. Police were using all their might to stop the students.

Among such policemen and officers were Pratap Singh. While Pratap Singh was trying to pull a young man from the scene, another young girl like his friend had cut off Pratap Singh's thumb. As a result, information has now come to light that Pratap Singh was down with a blood flowing hand.
