Digvijay Singh's advice to the central government: Register the educated unemployed, not the NRC

New Delhi, Jan 27, 2020, Monday

Veteran Congress leader Digvijay Singh said the central government did not need to create an NRC. There really is a need to create a unemployed register.

Talking to the media on Monday morning, Digvijay Singh said that in fact the NRC was not needed. Needed today is the Register of Educated Un-employed Indian Citizens - Need to register educated unemployed.

He criticized the central government, saying that the number of educated unemployed has increased manifold from 2014 to present. The economy has fallen and unemployment and hunger have increased. What is the hurry to register citizens now? Right now there is a need for a register of educated unemployed.

He also alleged that the central government's policy was divisive and created religious tensions.

"I have a positive idea to give to the Prime Minister," he said. Instead of registering unrestricted citizens in every corner of the country, create a register of educated unemployed and give jobs to the unemployed so that automatic peace will be established and people will have a boost to the working economy.

For the past few years, Congress has been raising issues against the government's failure in the recession, devastating economy, unemployment, starvation and other issues.
