New Delhi, Jan 8, 2020, Wednesday

The crime branch of the New Delhi Police Department has launched an investigation into the violence in JNU during the new anti-citizenship protests.

A police spokeswoman said at least 100 video clips made of mobile phones were found to be suspected of violence. It called for violence.

Senior Crime Branch officials visited JNU on Tuesday and started recording their statements after visiting the injured students.

There was a tension on the JNU campus on Tuesday as well. There was a tremendous amount of police in and out of the campus, however. The Gangnath route at JNU's main gate was also closed for traffic on Tuesday. A police spokesman said that more than fifty students were injured in the violence. Of these, 14 were from the All India Students Council and 25 were from the left groups. Ten times the students seemed impartial. They were not from any group or party.

Most importantly, the police did not receive any CCTV footage from the JNU campus as the violently vandalized CCTV cameras. Police also found a few eyewitnesses and recorded their statements.
