For a long time, the remake of 'Satte Pay Jatha' starring Amitabh Bachchan and Hema Mali has been discussed. But Hrithik later refused to work in the film as he did not like the script.

True to the source, Ajay Devgn was contacted after Hrithik's refusal to remake 'Satte Paya Adhikat'.
