Attack on US Embassy in Baghdad

Baghdad Date: January 21, 2020, Tuesday

The US embassy in Baghdad, Iraq's capital, was formally announced.

The ambassador, identified as Most Secured, was attacked by three rockets in the area. After the attack, a fearful siren echoed throughout the area.

However, no casualties were reported. The United States blamed Iran for the attack.

Literal and scriptural attacks between the United States and Iran have escalated over the past few days, especially since the United States airstrikes on Baghdad airports and killing Qassim Sulaimani, an Iranian military official.

On January 8th, 11 US soldiers and officers were claimed to have been injured in a missile attack on Iran. However, the US rejected Iran's claim that 11 people were injured.

Capt. Bill Urban, spokesman for the American Central Command, said that the attack on Iran at the El Assad airport did not cause any casualties but that those who were injured were given adequate treatment immediately.
