After Punjab, Rajasthan Legislature also passed anti-CAA bill

The Rajasthan Legislative Assembly passed a resolution requesting the Center to repeal the Civil Research Act. Rajasthan has become the second state to pass a bill to oppose central law after the Congress-ruled state of Punjab. Earlier, the Kerala legislature also passed a bill against the CAA, which was supported by Congress and the Left. The Rajasthan Legislative Assembly passed the bill with a sound vote urging the Center to withdraw this black law.

It was said in the resolution to remove new clauses contained in the National Population Registrar, II. ' It is clearly seen that the CAA violates the provision of promotion. That is why the House resolves that the Government of India should be urged to repeal the Act and remove the discrimination on the basis of religion for citizenship and adopt the equality norms, ”Parliamentary Affairs Minister Shantin Dhariwal said.

"Giving someone citizenship is the right of the center and in such a situation we challenge the CAA. But we welcome the central government's decision. Congress should stop vote bank politics and praise nobody, '' the BJP leader said outside the House.
