Cricketer Shahid Afridi criticized Prime Minister Imran Khan over the Chinese government's sanctions and atrocities imposed on Uyghur Muslims in China.

Afridi wrote in a tweet on Sunday that "Why does our PM not worry about Muslim families living in China talking about Jammu and Kashmir?" Imran Khan is increasingly worried about the Muslims of India when the Chinese government is brutally oppressing Uyghur Muslim siblings. You should also worry about our siblings living in China and help the Muslim brothers and sisters by talking to the Chinese government in detail.

China's Xinjiang province is the largest area and has a million Muslims. The Chinese government has long been oppressing these Muslims and according to international media reports, there are 600 detention camps in the province alone where the Chinese government has kept Muslims. The animals are said to have behaved like animals in this camp.

The Chinese government believes that these people are not ready to change their customs, language, religion or standard of living. China also believes that in the long run these people can be dangerous to the local people of China, so Uyghur constantly oppresses Muslims.

Afridi raised the issue and seized the opportunity to criticize Imran Khan.
