US accuses Pakistan of using F-16 against India

Pakistan launched an airstrike on India to respond to the Balakot air strike by India on terrorists. Pakistan also used F-16 aircraft in the meantime.

It has now been revealed that the US has reprimanded the president of Pakistan's Air Force for using US-supplied F-16 planes against India. According to media reports, Andrea Thomas, the then deputy foreign minister handling the matter of arms control and international security, wrote a letter to Pakistani Air Force Chief Marshal Mujahid Anwar Khan in August saying, "You told us that we flew the aircraft with the purpose of national security." The Pakistan government, on the other hand, has refused to comment on the letter.
