Unnao rap case May 16th verdict, Sanger likely to face severe punishment

A young girl has been accused of rape against Uttar Pradesh's Unnao BJP suspended MLA Kuldeep Sanger. When the matter came to light in 2017, there was heavy controversy, which resulted in the BJP ousting Kuldeep Sanger from the party. The verdict may now come up in court on the 16th. The Delhi court on Tuesday reserved the verdict and clarified that the verdict will come on May 16.

There are allegations that Kuldeep Sanger raped her when she was a minor in 2017, in August this year, the BJP removed Sanger from the party. On August 9th, Sanger filed charges against the Department under sections 120B (criminal conspiracy), 363 (kidnapping), 376 (rape) and various sections of Poxo.

On July 28 this year, a truck hit the Rapid victim's car, injuring both the victim and his lawyer while a family member was killed. He was charged with Kuldeep Sanger and the FIR was lodged, though he was eventually dropped, but now when the charges against him have been framed in the Rap case, the Delhi court could issue a bigger verdict on May 16.

On August 1, the apex court had directed that any case proceeding against Kuldeep Sanger in Uttar Pradesh be transferred to Delhi court, so the proceedings in the Delhi court have been completed in this regard and a verdict will now take place on May 16. In which Sanger could be subjected to severe punishment.

On the one hand, the Delhi court has to give verdict in the rape and kidnapping case of Unnav's Kuldeep Sanger. He was released from prison by rapists on a young woman.

The woman was burned alive by these knights, who died during treatment. Now taking action against the accused, Uttar Pradesh's DGP OP Singh said on Tuesday that the statement made by the rap victim was enough to punish the accused.

He added that the victim was taken to a Delhi hospital for treatment where he also gave a statement to the local doctors. We will also include the statement of doctors in our charge sheet so the accused in this case get maximum punishment. We are also going to file chargesheets in this matter in the next few days so there is a possibility that a verdict in this case may come sooner.
