Uddhav Thackeray and Sharad Pawar not present at Hemant Soren's swearing-in ceremony

Ranchi, Ta. 29 December 2019 Sunday

Jharkhand's JMM, Congress and RJD coalitions have been invited by several state chief ministers at the swearing-in ceremony. Meanwhile, Maharashtra Chief Minister Uddhav Thackeray is also included in the list where opposition leaders will be deployed, but he will not be involved in the swearing-in ceremony of Hemant Soren in Ranchi.

Hemant Soren called Uddhav Thackeray at the swearing-in ceremony but Thackeray has decided not to go. It is believed that opposition to the oath-taking ceremony in Jharkhand will showcase unity. Not only that, NCP president Sharad Pawar will not be involved in the oath-taking ceremony. Sharad Pawar today has a predetermined program in Panvel, in which he will be present.

Delhi CM Arvind Kejriwal is also attending the oath-taking ceremony. Thus, Aam Aadmi Party MP Sanjay Singh may be involved in the program taking place in Ranchi.

Governor Draupadi will administer the oath of office to Hemant Soren, the leader of the JMM MLA, at a grand swearing-in ceremony at the Morehabadi ground in Murmu Ranchi. Sources say that the Jharkhand cabinet will be expanded after the end of the Kharmas, after the Makar Sankranti on January 14.
