Two Indian students killed in hit and run in US

Two Indian students studying at Tennessee State University died in a road accident. The university students raised $ 42,000 for the funeral of both Indian students who died in the hit and run.

Two Indian students were hit by a pickup truck in the US state of Tennessee. Judy Stanley, 23, and Vaibhav Gopichetti, 26, were studying at the University of Tennessee. Both students were killed in the hit and run while studying food science at the University of Agriculture College.

According to the details of the police, a car was taken by the truck. The two died at the scene of the incident. His Indian-origin professor Bharat Pokhrel said both were very bright students. Vaibhav was soon planning to present an important research paper in the field of food. When Judy came from a middleclass family and was a very hardworking girl.

However, the university did not make any announcement about which of these two students was from India. His family was informed by preparing a report on the basis of DNA test, the police statement said.
