A three-judge bench of the Supreme Court will hear the reconsideration petition of the accused in the Nirbhaya gang rap case on December 17 next. Earlier on December 13, all the four accused will be produced in Tihar Jail through video conference in Patiala House Court.

In the Supreme Court, one of the four accused in the Nirbhaya gangreap case made a strange plea that his life was being cut short by pollution and he should be exempted from execution. The hearing of the petition will be held in the Supreme Court next 17th.

The Supreme Court accepted the plea of Akshay Kumar and the hearing of the Supreme Court website is scheduled to be heard next week. In the plea of the culprit Akshay Kumar, the parable of the Vedas-Purana-Upanishad states that man's life span in the Satyuga was a thousand years, in the Dwapar era man lived for centuries.

When the average life expectancy of a man in Kali Yug is only 50-60 years, he should not be put to death. In his petition, there was no reason to be hanged when death was due to pollution. Three of the four criminals had earlier filed a reconsideration petition in the Supreme Court. Akshay Kumar did not file a reconsideration petition.

On the other hand, all the four criminals will be present in the Patiala House Court through video conference from Tihar Jail. Earlier, there was also the possibility that the process had been undertaken to issue a death warrant for all four, but no explanation was made by the jail system.
