However, there were reports of onion loot in other states. But Bihar was probably the first incident. In the area under Mohaniya police station in the state of Kaimur district, robbers took the driver of a truck hostage and looted 5100 kilos of onion in 102 sacks.

Police said today that the driver Desh Raj Kushwaha had said that he was carrying 102 sacks from Allahabad to Jahanabad when he was taken hostage by six armed robbers at around 10 pm on Thursday.

The robbers seized the truck near Mohaniya and took it to an unknown place. For almost four hours they took the onion and stormed it. At about two o'clock in the night, the criminals left the driver five km away from the scene of the incident.

Then when he approached the truck, the onion was missing. Based on the complaint written by Deshraj, the police launched an investigation and claimed that we would catch the robbers in a short time. Earlier, the robbers also looted 120 kg of onion on December 6th.
