London, Ta. December 15, 2019, Sunday

The central government's citizenship bill was being protested in the country at present, but now protests are taking place abroad. Many people in Britain took to the streets and opposed the citizenship bill.

Outside the Indian embassy in London, a number of Assamese citizens gathered and protested the bill. At the same time, Modi was anti-slogan and termed the bill as divisive on the basis of religion.

Protesters said that this new bill will create a financial crisis in Assam as the government is going to grant citizenship to all those who live in Assam as refugees. In addition, the basis of this law is religion which is not fair, the constitution of the country does not allow the determination of citizenship on the basis of religion.

People demonstrating in Britain also say that presently there is a curfew in Assam and internet service has been discontinued so we cannot even communicate with our families, the condition of the hospitals is bad.

People from every class, including children, women, the elderly, youths, students studying in Britain joined the protest, and also spoke of Say Yes to Unity Say No to Division.

A similar rally was organized in Delhi, similar to the India Bachao rally organized by British-Indian and especially Assamese citizens and opposed the central government's policies.

The bill that the government has brought is that any refugees who have come to India from Pakistan, Bangladesh, Afghanistan will be granted Indian citizenship. Will go
