Railways achieve achievement for the first time in its 166-year history, read

For the first time in the Indian Railway's 166-year history, not a single passenger has been killed in an accident throughout the year.

Railways have claimed that the country of zero passenger death has become a witness in the financial year 2019-20. This is a huge achievement in the direction of security.

There were 59 rail accidents in 2018-19 and 73 accidents in 2017-18. When 2131 trains were accidental in 1960-61. Speaking of 2010-11, there were 141 accidents this year.

There has been a lot of work done on the railways since 2014. Now the Union Cabinet has also approved the restructuring of the Railway Board.
