Bharatiya Janata Party is facing defeat in Jharkhand. Taking charge of the defeat, Chief Minister Raghuvar Das said that the order issued by the public was welcome, however, he said that final figures were yet to come. He said that thanks to the 30 million people in the state. Tried 5 years to work honestly. If the BJP loses the election, this is my defeat. The BJP is leading in 27 seats as per the four-hour countdown. While the Congress-JMM-RJD coalition is leading in 46 seats.
For the first time since the establishment of the state of Jharkhand, the BJP is contesting the Jharkhand assembly elections on its own. Any coalition or party needs 41 seats to form a government in the 81-member assembly in the state.
