Nirav Modi threatens to kill the director of his dummy company

The Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) has filed a charge sheet in the Rs 13,500 crore Punjab National Bank (PNB) scam case. In the chargesheet, Nirav Modi, the main accused in the case, has been accused of threatening to kill one of his company's dummy directors.

According to the chargesheet, according to the chargesheet, on behalf of Nirav Modi, his brother Nehal, who lives in the Egyptian capital, Cairo, told Ashish Mohanbhai that if he tried to return to India, he would die.

Ashish Mohanbhai fled from Cairo to Dubai to escape arrest. In June 2018, Nahl threatened to kill Ashish if he planned to return to India.

It is worth mentioning that Nirav Modi was declared a runaway financial offender earlier this month for not cooperating in the investigation. Nirav Modi is currently locked up in London's Wandsworth Prison. Nirav Modi along with Mehul Choksi launched a Rs 13,570 crore scam in Punjab National Bank. Nirav Modi was arrested in London in March this year.
