Indian warlords deployed missiles, troops to border: Pak to complain to UN

Islamabad / New Delhi, Ta. December 19, 2019, Thursday

Pakistan has complained to the UN that India is preparing to take an aggressive stance on the Line of Control. Pakistani Foreign Minister Shah Mahmood Qureshi has written to the United Nations. In that letter, Pakistan has alleged that India has deployed new missiles in the vicinity of the LoC. Which could endanger the peace of the area.

The letter also alleged that India was making all these movements to divert the world's attention from the deteriorating situation in Kashmir. Another Pakistani official claimed that the military movement could be expedited at five locations on the LoC so that obstacles, including fencing, were removed.

The Pakistan occupation of Kashmir lies at the foot of the LoC, which is originally from India. The question remains as to whether the Indian government will invade Pakistan to capture the Occupied Kashmir (POK).

Meanwhile, a day earlier, Indian military chief General Bipin Rawat acknowledged that the situation at the LoC was tight and said that anything could happen at any time. The Indian Army is fully prepared for this.

Pakistan is alleged to have fired missiles of various ranges, which are likely to be used to intimidate Pakistan. Under these circumstances, the UN should intervene so as not to jeopardize South Asian peace.

Qureshi has written several letters to the UN in the last few times complaining about India on the Kashmir issue. This was the latest letter in the series. However, he did not present the evidence necessary to prove the allegations made in the letter.

After the event, there was a debate in social media that something new was going to happen on OLOC. It is not likely, however, to be new. Because now the Minister of Defense is on a US tour. When General Rawat, the current army chief, ends his term on December 31. So nothing special is likely to happen before that.
