Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar's party Janata Dal-U had not received a single vote in Jharkhand assembly elections. At this time, the decision of the NDA constituents BJP, JVM, LJP and AJSU, JDU, etc., to organize elections in different ways, can be said to be very expensive.

His party contested 45 of the 81 seats, but received a staggering ten thousand one hundred and twenty-one votes, meaning that 73 per cent of the votes came to his party. Most of his candidates even lost the deposit.

From the Mazgaon seat in Jharkhand, JDU's Jharkhand unit president Murmu himself fought. They were also lost and their ranking was 12th, looking at the results. From this it can be understood that they too received very few votes.
