Famous filmmaker Imtiaz Ali has contacted Ayushman Khurrana and Karthik Aryan for their upcoming film. The film will be based on the Punjabi Folk Singer.

He was known as the 'Evil of Punjab'. He was in discussions due to his songs as well as extramarital relationships and drug habits.

Imtiaz Ali has acquired the rights to the film and also got the approval of the singer's family. She is passionate about taking the personal life of a Punjabi singer into the veil. However, the script of the film is currently underway. The film's creator has approached Karthik Aryan and Ayushman Khurana for this role.
