Four accused in Hyderabad gang-rape encounter

Four accused in the Hyderabad gang-rape were announced in a police encounter.

The police took the four to National Highway 44 on Thursday night for Reconstruction of Crime, a police spokeswoman said. All four tried to escape after seeing the sound.

Police shot and killed the accused while fleeing. Veterinary protests have swept across the country over the evils of gangrene and murder at a Hyderabad veterinary doctor.

In Hyderabad too, the police station where the accused were kept was surrounded by the people and demanded that the accused be handed over to them. The police had confronted the four of them by understanding the outrage of the people.
