New delhi date. December 12, 2019, Thursday

While dissatisfaction with the economic slowdown is taking place on the one hand, the statement of former President Pranab Mukherjee on the economy has come out. He said he was not concerned about the economic slowdown. What is happening, will have its own effect. Justifying the central government's steps, the former president said that there is a need for big capital in the banking sector. So there is nothing wrong with investing in the system.

Addressing a program of the Indian Statistical Institute, he said, "Now that the banking sector needs money, there is nothing wrong with investing in a bank." He also said that during the economic crisis of 2008, Indian banks introduced strength. During that time he was finance minister. Meanwhile, no bank contacted him for capital.

Meanwhile, Pranab Mukherjee also emphasized the honesty of data in a democracy. He said, there should be no tampering with the data because if the data is tampered with it will have the opposite effect.
