Five thousand mice were killed at a cost of 52.5 million

In response to an RTI report, the Western Railway, which ran trains from West India to North India, spent Rs 1 crore, 52 lakh, 41 thousand, 689 rupees in the last three years to kill mice in its office.

What is shocking is that after spending such a hefty amount, the railway killed five thousand four hundred power rats in cash, which means that the Western Railway smoked 14,000 rupees to kill five rats a day. Is there a new way to conduct corruption!

Fourteen thousand rupees a day was paid to the Pest Control Company for killing rats standing in the yard and in their offices, but only five mice were killed per day for such a significant expense.

The Western Railway is considered to be the smallest unit of the Indian Railways. It would be difficult to imagine what would be the situation in larger units if such a sky was to be found in a small unit.

See how ridiculous the argument of Ravinder Bhakar, chief public relations officer of the Western Railway, is. That said, it is not fair to compare mice killed with the cost of paste control. You should see that in the last two years, the problem of signal reduction due to wire cutting has decreased significantly so accidents have also decreased.

The railway serves reputable pest control companies in the railway offices, railway yards and railway coaches (compartments) to prevent pest control. Such companies work to control the livestock through various chemicals in railway assets.

Over the past three years, pest control has cost over one and a half million and the mice have been ruled by five thousand four hundred.
