The government's focus is on the next issues of the manifesto. The Uniform Civil Code was an important election promise of the BJP.

This complicated topic has always been a topic of discussion. The central government has indicated more than once that it is working in that direction. Another issue is the NRC, the National Registry of Citizens of India. The BJP had announced in the manifesto to bring a law to curb illegal intruders.

The Home Minister made a recent statement on the NRC issue and indicated that the law would be brought back. Under this, non-citizens of India will have to leave their compulsory country. This is likely to be most likely in West Bengal, Assam.

Apart from that, Prime Minister Narendra Modi called a country one election, which was also included in the BJP election. The government argues that this will reduce the cost of elections.
