Daughter protests citizenship bill, Sourav Ganguly lands in defense

Sanaa Ganguly, daughter of India's cricket board president Sourav Ganguly in protest of the citizenship bill, has been hit by a post on social media.

Sana Ganguly shared an excerpt from author Khushwant Singh's book on social media. It says that fascist forces always target the weaker sections of society. When there is an atmosphere of fear and conflict, the movement is based on hate. Those of us today who think they are not Muslim or Christian are living in a world of fools.

After the post went viral, Sourav Ganguly defended his daughter Sana, saying, "Keep away from all this, this post is not true. He is too young to understand politics.

Sana is currently studying in 12th grade and also performs classical dance.
